Background
I am a researcher and technologist with over 10 years of experience across solid oxide fuel cell, electrolysis, sustainable cooling, and energy systems. My career spans academic research, industrial R&D, and independent consulting - giving me a rare combination of scientific rigour and hands-on engineering perspective.
I collaborate openly with those working in similar fields and am always interested in exchanges that add scientific or business intelligence and value to the energy transition.
Why I started VenkaCon?
I founded VenkaCon in June 2024 to bring independent, science-based expertise directly to those making critical technology and investment decisions in the energy sector - without the overhead and bias that comes with large consulting firms.
Too many decisions in this space are made without deep technical grounding - 'Facts & Physics'. VenkaCon exists to change that.
Qualifications in Brief
I hold a PhD in Energy Systems and Electrochemical Technologies and spent close to 3 years as a postdoctoral researcher before moving into industry again. From 2019 to 2023, I served as Application Manager for SOFC and Electrolyser testing - bridging laboratory research with real-world industrial requirements.
In summary, I am an Energy Systems professional with 10 plus years of experience, working at the intersection of advanced technologies, industrial implementation, and strategic analysis. I am experienced in evaluating complex energy systems, structuring technical and market insights, and in supporting decision-making in multi-stakeholder environments.
Through my ongoing Industry 4.0 certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I am further developing expertise in digital transformation of industrial systems, including data-driven manufacturing, cyber-physical systems and the integration of advanced technologies into industrial innovation ecosystems.
That combination of deep academic training and hand-on systems experience is the foundation of every VenkaCon engagement.
